Denizens of Capitol Hill are particularly blessed this week, as the neighborhood welcomes a new Argentinian bakery and pizzeria, a Korean fried chicken joint, and the return of Dick's Drive-In on Broadway. In other food news, the Taiwanese boba behemoth Tiger Sugar debuts its first Seattle location this weekend, and Schmaltzy's Delicatessen bids farewell. Boca Argentine Bakery and Pizzeria Add to a List
This Argentine-inspired bakery and pizzeria spinoff from Boca Restobar and Grill Add to a List is now softly open in the former Pagliacci Add to a List space. The minimalist, plant-filled spot serves Argentinian breakfast pastries, lunch, and dinner and has an early happy hour with tapas and cocktails.

Chicken Factory Add to a List
A few weeks ago, this crispy poultry purveyor from Tig Kitchen and Bar Add to a List owner Kim Young opened in the former Marination Station Add to a List space on the upper level of Harvard Market on Capitol Hill. The restaurant serves made-to-order Korean fried chicken alongside sides like fries and deep-fried mac and cheese balls.

Dick's Drive-In Add to a List
Capitol Hill's cruel famine of orange-foil-wrapped Deluxe burgers and greasy fries is mercifully about to come to an end: After a six-month hiatus for construction, Dick's iconic Broadway location, immortalized in Sir Mix-a-Lot's "Posse on Broadway," is set to reopen next Thursday, June 23.

Tiger Sugar Add to a List
You may have spotted this wildly popular Taiwanese boba chain's signature "tiger-striped" brown sugar milk tea beverages in your Instagram feed. Now, they're headed to downtown Seattle: The business will debut its first-ever Washington shop, located just three minutes from Pike Place, tomorrow, June 18. The first 200 customers to arrive for the grand opening will receive free merch with their purchases.

Capitol Coffee Works Add to a List
This Capitol Hill cafe, which was recently acquired by Victrola Coffee, closed its doors last Friday. According to Capitol Hill Seattle, the previous owners were already planning to close the location, and the new ownership decided to go ahead with the plans. The other Coffee Works locations will remain open, and the Capitol Hill space is set to be taken over by the upcoming Seattle location of Portland-based vegan Jewish deli Ben & Esther's Add to a List .

Schmaltzy's Delicatessen Add to a List
We may be getting a new Jewish deli, but another one is leaving us: This popular spot from former Napkin Friends Add to a List owner Jonny Silverberg announced this week on Instagram that it will close its doors after almost three years of business on July 3. The post read, "The economic metrics that we built our business model on no longer exist due to the pandemic and its lasting effects on our economy, costs, and labor." All is not lost, however—the Schmaltzy's team plans to open a "new Jewish concept" with a "different way of executing it that fits into how things are now" in a few months.
