It's certainly been a gloomy spring, dominated by a record-breaking rainfall, but the clouds have parted at last. This occasion definitely calls for parking yourself on a patio, preferably while sipping the cold beverage of your choice. Add on a carafe of margaritas, and you'll have all the makings of a dreamy evening.

Dimo's Apizza Add to a List
Chef Doug Miriello's pop-up, which slings New Haven-style "apizza" pies (characterized by a long, cold fermentation period and a bake in a coal-fired oven), has plenty of space for outdoor seating on East Burnside. Besides apizza, the menu also features salads, vegetable dishes, East Coast-style grinders, beer, and wine.

Eem Add to a List
Former Portland Mercury restaurant critic Andrea Damewood called this Thai barbecue spot with tropical cocktails "the restaurant equivalent of Lizzo: infectious, critically and commercially acclaimed, and addictive AF," writing, "You cannot go wrong in ordering, from the hot fried cauliflower to the divine brisket in white curry to the fried rice with burnt ends. And both the cocktails and mocktails are some of the best in town—my favorite piña colada, made with coffee and salt to keep it from being too cloying, is on the menu again." The restaurant has individual booths with fire pits for outdoor dining.

Thomas and Mariah Pisha-Duffly's acclaimed Indonesian Chinese spot Gado Gado boasts a homey, colorful covered patio space with a tropical vibe, complete with bright geometric-patterned rugs, string lights, and plants. Its sibling Oma's Hideaway also has a patio in addition to its glam "disco dining room."

The Portland Mercury's Suzette Smith writes, "I've biked past Güero's streetside deck, off NE 28th, at golden hour and appraised its glory—filled to capacity with jubilant pods of people chowing down on tortas and raising mezcal margaritas. Something about Güero's design and approach feels cool, like they meant to build a big patio on NE Davis, no biggie."

These restaurants from Sesame Collective are all offering full dinner service on their patios for the season. Patio reservations are currently available at Yalla and will be available at the other two restaurants "just as soon as we can count on the sun to stick around for good."

OK Omens Add to a List
This wine-focused restaurant offers full dinner service on its patio, which features umbrella-covered tables. The menu is creative, nostalgic, and wildly delicious—try the Sichuan peppercorn-dusted fried chicken bites, the torito salad, or the Tillamook cheese beignets, and save room for the aptly named "Kinda Like a McFlurry" (vanilla ice cream, peanut butter cups, Butterfingers, Heath bar, and chocolate) for dessert.

This upscale, playful neighborhood spot reopened in a new location on SE Clinton last summer, complete with a new patio. Janey Wong writes, "Bedecked with plants brought over from the Mississippi location, the freshly replanted patio garden is a lush oasis that transports diners out of the city for the duration of their meal while also serving a practical purpose, providing edible flowers and herbs such as shiso and lemon verbena for cocktails and dishes." The revamped outdoor space features a pergola with motorized walls and a large tent with open windows and heat sources inside.

The remodeled former art deco-style gas station offers plenty of patio dining. Don't miss the popular happy hour from 3-7 pm and 10 pm-2 am daily, which features deals on their classic cocktails like the "Pet Sounds" (gin, lemon, lime, cucumber, sugar, rhubarb bitters, and soda) and the "Rose Bird" (apple-spiced bourbon, lemon, grenadine, and cherry), plus food specials like fries and aioli, dirty olives, grilled cheese, chickpea fritters, and grilled chicken sandwiches.
