Portland now has its very first classical music-inspired bar, thanks to owner Lisa Lipton, a clarinetist, descendant of the bar's namesake composer Felix Mendelssohn, and the director of the Newport Symphony Orchestra. The watering hole features themed cocktails like the "Bach Talk" (a jalapeño martini with Lillet Rouge), plus a food menu with items from local businesses like Rimsky-Korsakoffee House, Henry Higgins, and Olympia Provisions.
