Fuji to Hood: An Oregon/Japan Collaboration Fest
Did you know that Portland has nine different sister cities? This all-ages craft beer and food festival honors Portland's impressive 63-year-long relationship with its first sister city, Sapporo, Japan, with 18 different collaborations between Oregon and Japanese craft breweries, a cider collaboration, and a distillery collaboration, plus food and art. Each collaboration is made in Oregon using at least one special ingredient from Japan, resulting in original combos like a citrus cider from Reverend Nat’s and Fukuoka Craft with yuzu kosho and Fukuoka kabosu and a matcha gin from Aimsir Distilling and Kozue Gin with notes of juniper, raspberry, and cardamom.
