Having reopened in June after a two-year pandemic closure, the World Forestry Center is welcoming guests back to the woodsy space with Rethinking Fire, an exhibition of works by Arizona-based artist Bryan David Griffith. Exploring the ecological role of fire in forests, Griffith seeks to inspire dialogue around forest resiliency through paintings, sculptures, and large-scale natural installations. Quotes from fire researchers and scientists found throughout the exhibition add helpful context to the work.
