Three exciting speakers will help us understand the science behind our changing climate and the ecological and social implications of climate change on urban areas in particular. Learn about applied strategies for addressing these impacts on our gardens, our city, and our planet. Before the lecture, enjoy appetizers, drinks and a leisurely stroll in the Garden.

Lecture #2: “Adapting Your Yard & Garden for Climate Change” featuring Weston Miller, OSU Extension Service Community & Urban Horticulturist. Northwest gardeners and landscapers are accustomed to our Mediterranean climate with mild, wet winters and warm, dry summers. With climate change, we expect more extreme events.
