Stella Zhong's artistic practice is nothing if not complex—the NYC-based creator draws from astrophysics and anthropological concepts to engage with built environments, mysterious objects, and "worlds as propositions." Zhong's model worlds are imagined with radically different modes of power, empathy, and knowledge, separated from a human-centric perspective. How Zhong's futurist works will translate in this solo exhibition remains to be seen, but we're intrigued.
