14/48: The World’s Quickest Theater Festival gathers some of Seattle’s most daring theater artists and puts them in a pressure cooker. The challenge is far from simple: 14 plays written, cast, directed, rehearsed, scored, designed, and premiered in 48 hours. Since 1997, 14/48: TWQTF has premiered over 1,100 new works and forged lasting impacts throughout the artistic community. All performances of 14/48: Outdoors are FREE thanks to a generous grant from the Mayor’s Office of Arts and Cultural Affairs and the Seattle Parks Department’s Arts in the Parks Program.
